Hassell placed on IR; former Keb signed

SUMMERSIDE – The Summerside Storm of the National Basketball League of Canada announced two roster moves late Wednesday night.

The Storm signed point guard Royce Parran, and placed Brandon Hassell on the injured reserve list. Hassell did not play in Tuesday night’s 140-95 home-court victory over the Saint John Mill Rats.

Parran is no stranger to the NBL of Canada as he scored over 13 points per game with the Quebec Kebs last season.

Parran, who played his college ball at Chicago State University, is a Chicago native.

Parran is expected to be in a Storm uniform on Friday night, when the Oshawa Power visits Eastlink Arena for a 7 p.m. start.
