Final resumes in Kensington on Friday

SUMMERSIDE – Carson MacKinnon and Koby Bridges played key roles in the Summerside Capitals’ important 1-0 victory over the Mid-Isle Matrix at Credit Union Place’s Ice Pad on Tuesday night.

MacKinnon scored the game’s lone goal late in the second period, and Bridges provided shutout goaltending as the Capitals evened the best-of-five final series 1-1.

Game 3 is scheduled for Community Gardens in Kensington on Friday at 8:10 p.m., with Game 4 is back at Credit Union Place on Saturday at 7:40 p.m.
