KENSINGTON – Tanner McGuigan and Brandon Gallant scored back-to-back goals in the shootout to lift the Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers to a 3-2 win over the Holland College Hurricanes on Wednesday night.

Spencer Montgomery and Kyle Doucette scored regulation-time goals for the Vipers in the Island Junior Hockey League game, played at Community Gardens.

Eric Locke and Anthony Cummiskey countered for the Hurricanes.

Winning goaltender was Grant Grady while Dylan McQuaid tended goal for the Hurricanes.

The same two teams will close out the regular season back in Kensington on Sunday at 7 p.m.
