Championship game now set for Tuesday afternoon

CRAPAUD – The P.E.I. Tankard provincial men’s curling championship continues at the Crapaud Community Curling Club on Monday after two days of postponements due to the storm.

Six teams remain in play as action continues at 11 a.m., when Mike Gaudet meets Robert Campbell and Jamie Newson faces Blair Weeks. All four teams are from the Charlottetown Curling Complex.

The winners play at 4 p.m. in the No. 3 and No. 4 Page playoff game.

Eddie MacKenzie and Rod MacDonald, both Charlottetown rinks, meet in the No. 1 and No. 2 Page playoff game at 4 p.m. The winner advances to Tuesday’s final at 4 p.m., and the loser plays in the semifinal Tuesday at 11 a.m.
