Adam Casey of Seven Mile Bay is the third stone, and Brett Gallant of Charlottetown plays second stone. Lead Geoff Walker rounds out the Gushue rink, which defeated the Colin Thomas team 8-2 on Sunday afternoon to win the Newfoundland and Labrador Tankard provincial men’s curling championship.

The Canadian men’s curling championship takes place in Edmonton from March 2 to 10. Casey was a member of the Gushue rink last year that competed in the Brier. This was the first provincial men’s title for Gallant, who skipped the runner-up team in the P.E.I. Tankard last year.
