SUMMERSIDE – National Basketball League of Canada fans in London and surrounding areas will have to wait two weeks for a much-anticipated showdown between the two division leaders.

The Atlantic Division-leading Summerside Storm was scheduled to visit the London Lightning of the Central Division on Sunday afternoon. However, Saturday’s snowstorm prevented both teams from travelling to London. The Lightning played in Saint John on Friday night.

The game has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m.

The Storm sports a record of 18-11 while the Lightning, the overall league leaders, are 26-4.

The Storm’s next game is at Eastlink Arena on Thursday, when the Moncton Miracles visit for a Valentine’s Day matchup at 7 p.m.
