Hackett made 40 saves in the Aces’ most important game of the season – a 7-0 shutout over the Southside Lynx – in the regular-season finale on Saturday night. That win moved the Aces past the Lynx into the top seed for the playoffs.
After returning home from out west in November, Hackett has posted a 10-0 (won-lost) record and a league-leading 2.75 goals-against average and .918 save percentage among goaltenders with a minimum of five games played.
Hackett will be a key player in the Aces’ upcoming playoff run.
