The Tyne Valley Clover Farmers will provide the opposition, and the opening faceoff at the Tignish Credit Union Arena is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
This game was originally scheduled for Sunday night, but was postponed due to a flu bug with the Tyne Valley team.
It’s a big game for the second-place Aces, who can still finish in first place by winning their final two games. The Aces close out the regular season in Crapaud against the first-place Southside Lynx on Saturday night.
The Aces currently sport an 18-6-2 (won-lost-overtime/shootout losses) record while Southside is 20-5-2.
The Aces, who were backed by Jake Hackett’s strong goaltending, are coming off one of their best efforts of the season – a 9-3 win over the Belfast Sabres – on Friday night. However, the win was a costly one for the Aces, who lost veteran defenceman Joel McIsaac to a suspected season-ending shoulder injury.
