At world junior biathlon championships

Carsen Campbell of Bedeque finished 30th in the 7.5-kilometre sprint event at the world junior biathlon championships on Friday.

Campbell’s time was 22:44.1. He was 1:31.7 off the winner’s time.

Campbell and Menno Arendz of Hartsville will be part of the eight-member Canadian team. Campbell competes in youth (17-to-19-year-olds) while Arendz is in junior (20-21).
