Big third period sparks Regals

CHARLOTTETOWN – The Western Regals outscored the host Sherwood Falcons 4-1 in the final 20 minutes en route to a 7-4 win in the P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League on Thursday night.

Jeff Gaudet (2-1), Jason Gallant (2), Nathan Handrahan (1-1), Jordan Arsenault and Carson Adams scored for the Regals, who received three assists from each Robbie Fraser and Evan Millman. Chase McCue (2) and Calvin MacRae also assisted.

Jordan Jewell (2), Tanner MacLean and Kyle Keoughan answered for the Falcons.

The teams were tied 1-1 after one period, and 3-3 at the end of two periods.

Rowgan Barbour earned the goaltending win.
