SUMMERSIDE – With the trade deadline past, the MHL’s Summerside Western Capitals are inviting the public to meet the team that will be competing for an RBC Cup in May.
At 10:30 a.m. today in the lobby at Credit Union Place, the public will be able to interact with the finalized roster for the first time.
The meet and greet will feature some of the Capitals new acquisitions, including goaltender Kevin Bailie, defensemen Mike Crocock and defensemen Mackenzie Braid.
The events will include a video prepared by the Capitals and speeches made by team representatives along with snacks and drinks afterwords.
“These events are always successful,” said Todd Richard, special events co-ordinator for the City of Summerside. “Fans can come out to meet the guys and put a name to their face.”
The event is open to the public and will last for about 30 minutes.
