CRAPAUD – Curtis Gant scored with 3:28 left in overtime to lift the North River Flames to a 4-3 victory over the first-place Southside Lynx on Saturday night.

The Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League game was played at the South Shore Actiplex.

Gant’s goal capped a come-from-behind win for the Flames, who went into the third period down 3-1 after a scoreless opening 20 minutes.

Dakota Vessey, Brennan Dalziel and Reed Gallant also scored for the Flames while Chris Hedefine (2) and Chris Arsenault added helpers.

Spencer Dougay (1-1), Greg Beckingham and Cody Dawson dented the twine for the Lynx. Single helpers went to Andy Murphy, Rob Miller and Alex MacLeod.

Taylor Doyle earned the goaltending win with a 39-save performance while John Miller took the loss. The final shots-on-goal totals were 42-22 in favour of the Lynx, including a 20-4 advantage in the middle frame.
