The win improved North River’s record to 13-7-2 (won-lost-overtime/shootout losses) while the Lynx fell to 17-3-2.
The Lynx and second-place Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces will clash in an important game at the Tignish Credit Union Arena on Sunday night at 7:20. The Lynx takes a four-point lead into the game over the Aces (15-5-2), who can cut the deficit to two points with a regulation-time win.
In other league games today, the Morell Crunch visit the Belfast Sabres at 3 p.m., and the Flames are at the Tyne Valley Clover Farmers in a 7:30 p.m. start.
