KENSINGTON – The Kensington Clark Insurance Granites and Montague Marines will play the back end of a home-and-home series in the Island Community Senior Hockey League here at Community Gardens tonight (Wednesday).

The opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:30.

The two teams met in Montague on Sunday night, and the Granites pulled out a 5-3 victory.

It’s a big game for both teams as the league-leading Granites have an opportunity to open up a seven-point lead over the Marines and the Charlottetown Crunch with a regulation-time win. However, a Montague win in regulation time will close the gap to just three points.

The Granites sport a 5-2-1 (won-lost-overtime losses) record, and the Marines are 3-3-0.

Are these games posted anywhere , I never seem to see anything on them until after they are played & I live in Montague . Would like to go & see some of them . The only place I see anything on this league is in this paper period . Better advertisment of games would make for more fans . I just don't like junior hockey but enjoy senior .
