Past Morell in junior C action

TIGNISH – Two goals and an assist by Rylie Shea sparked the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces to a 7-2 victory over the Morell Crunch in a Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League match here at the Credit Union Arena on Sunday night.

Traven Gaudet (1-1), Mitch Doucette (1-1), Slade Handrahan (1-1), Parker Arsenault and Charlie Bernard also lit the lamp for the Aces. Other helpers went to Jacob LeClair (2), Ryley Doyle, Karter Hackett, Joel MacIsaac and Jordan Gaudet.

Ben Miller netted both goals for the Crunch. Single helpers went to JD Farrell, Ryan Compton and Mitch Power.

The Aces held comfortable period leads of 3-0 and 7-2.

Winning goaltender was Chase Dyment, who was named the Regal Cresting player of the game. The shots-on-goal totals were even 29-29.

There was no score available at press time of the game in Tyne Valley between the visiting Southside Lynx and host Clover Farmers.
