ABRAM-VILLAGE – It was a good night for the Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings on Saturday.

The Red Wings, led by TJ Campbell’s two-goal, two-assist performance, routed the Holland College Hurricanes 8-1 in an Island Junior Hockey League game at the Evangeline Recreation Centre.

Jeremy Balderston (2-1), John Ryan Francis (1-1), Fidan Feta, Troy Gallant and Brett Adams also scored for the Abram-Village-based Red Wings, who built period leads of 2-0 and 5-0. Tyler Clair (2), Ben Johnson, Cleve McNeill, Lucas Dyment, Tyson Phillips and Logan Arsenault added assists.

John Grimmer, assisted by Pat LeFrank and Curtis Hall, netted the Hurricanes’ lone goal.

Connor Shea notched the goaltending win as the Red Wings outshot the Hurricanes 49-37.
