ALBERTON – The Western Regals were victorious while the Mid-Isle Matrix lost in P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League action over the weekend.

The Regals topped the visiting Sherwood Falcons 3-1 on Saturday night, and the Matrix dropped a 6-2 home decision to the Charlottetown Abbies on Friday night.

The Abbies skated to a 5-5 tie with the Pownal Red Devils on Saturday afternoon.
