Gaudet leads Aces past Clover Farmers

In P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League

TYNE VALLEY – Traven Gaudet’s three goals and two assists sparked the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces to a 7-1 victory over the Tyne Valley Clover Farmers on Friday night.

The P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League contest was played at the Tyne Valley Community Sports Centre.

Kirk Ramsay, Ryley Doyle, Slade Handrahan and Mitch Doucette also scored for the Aces, who visit the Southside Lynx tonight (Saturday) and host North River on Sunday.

Josh Bernard was credited with the lone Tyne Valley goal.

The teams were tied 1-1 after the first period, and the Aces took a 3-1 advantage into the second intermission.

Jake Hackett picked up the goaltending win.
