Storm co-owners Duncan Shaw and Darren MacKay, along with head coach Joe Salerno, announced Cayole’s signing on Tuesday.
Chris Cayole is coming off a bittersweet first season with the Storm. Cayole missed over half of the season with a high ankle sprain, but when he played he was outstanding from the three-point line and was named to the NBL All-Star Weekend three-point shooting contest.
"We will really look for a healthy Chris Cayole to play an integral piece in what we will do offensively this season,” said Salerno. “Chris missing 20 games last season really hurt us in the long run, and we are looking forward to having him back, healthy and ready to go.

A six-foot-seven shooting forward, Cayole can electrify the crowd with his dunking ability, or a hot streak from beyond the arc. Cayole is a graduate of St. Michael’s College in Vermont.
Cayole will join the Storm’s Island training camp that opens in Slemon Park on Oct. 15.
