Storm launches ticket campaign Wednesday

SUMMERSIDE – The Summerside Storm will launch their season-ticket campaign at noon today (Wednesday).

The Storm’s first regular-season home game is against the Saint John Mill Rats on Friday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. The Storm, who play in the two-year-old National Basketball League of Canada, will play one home exhibition contest – The Rogers Slam Dunk Game – on Friday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m.

Terrific response

The Storm has been giving last year’s season-ticket holders an opportunity to purchase season tickets for the coming season, and the response has been terrific. A team media release notes there is a 25-per-cent increase over last year.

As of noon on Wednesday, everyone has an opportunity to purchase season tickets, which are the most affordable in the league. Fans can purchase a number of different packages.

The Storm will open training camp in mid-October.
