SUMMERSIDE – The Summerside Storm of the National Basketball League of Canada announced two roster moves early Friday evening.
Small forward Chris Cayole has been taken off the injured reserved list, and forward Terry Martin has been released.
“Terry is a very good player, and will certainly catch on some where with another team,” commented Storm head coach Joe Salerno. “He (Martin) was asked to play a lesser role with us then what he was used to. I give him a lot of credit for making that adjustment while he was here, and handling the situation like a true professional.
“We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours."
In 14 games with the Storm, Martin averaged 3.50 points per game.
Cayole, who has been out since suffering a high ankle sprain on Dec. 20, is expected to play in Halifax on Saturday. Cayole has a 13.62 points-per-game average in 13 games.
EastLink Television will have live coverage of the Storm-Halifax game.
