CHARLOTTETOWN – The UPEI Panthers are off to a strong start in the second half of the Atlantic University Sport Men’s Hockey Conference.

The Panthers resumed regular-season play after a month-long Christmas break with a 5-3 win over the Saint Mary’s Huskies on Friday night, and followed that up with a 2-1 decision over the St. Francis Xavier X-Men on Saturday evening. Both games were played at MacLauchlan Arena on the UPEI campus.

Mike MacIsaac of O’Leary scored the game-winning goal on the power play for the Panthers at 3:23 of the third period.
