SUMMERSIDE – Rasheem Barrett is the latest signing of the Summerside Storm of the National Basketball League of Canada.

Barrett replaces  Dwight Brewington who was put on the injured reserve list today.

Barrett averaged over 10 points per game over his career with Auburn while averaging over 27 minutes played per game. He also earned a degree in Public Administration while at Auburn.

Barrett and the rest of the Summerside Storm see action Thursday evening in Saint John at Harbour Station when they take on the Saint John Mill Rats at 7 p.m. This game can be seen online by visiting the Mill Rats website.

The Storm play another road game this Sunday in Halifax against the Rainmen before returning home for back to back games Nov. 17 and 18 against the Mill Rats and the Moncton Miracles.

This will be the first opportunity for Storm fans to see Barrett and recently-signed center, 7' 2” Jared Carter out of the University of Kentucky.
