Al Stewart Day

The Summerside Storm held Al Stewart Day on Sunday. The Storm faced the Halifax Rainmen in what was Stewart’s final game with the Storm. Stewart, who has been the face of the National Basketball League of Canada franchise for its two years of existence and holds many team records, is returning to Chicago to accept a full-time teaching position. Summerside Mayor Basil Stewart made a presentation to Stewart on behalf of the Prince County city, and the team presented the popular point guard with a framed Storm jersey.
