To the Editor,
From the Trans-Canada Highway, Route 1A, Lackeys Hill, to Miscouche, drivers have to change speed in their vehicle 13 times.

It must be very frustrating for large trucks hauling heavy loads to have to deal with such a quagmire of speed limits.

Not only do we have the speed zones, we have to deal with two roundabouts and three traffic lights.

I wonder what end the head was on when these designs and lights were thought up. I think the people in charge should look into this and make some changes. This type of situation is dangerous, because drivers get frustrated and they pass on the right side, tailgate, and ignore the speed limits.

I am one for safety, but when we have areas with this type of bottleneck I too get frustrated.

I drive this route numerous times a week and I will seek an alternate if one is available.
