On Wednesday, Dec. 11, you wrote about the WestJet Christmas Miracle and I was so happy to see this amazing project acknowledged.
Westjet has taken advertising "out of the box" and put their money to good use. I wish other corporations would follow their example.
I have watched the same Christmas commercials over and over again, and honestly, I am not inspired in the least to go out and visit those shops, stores, malls.
I am so delighted that WestJet took their advertising dollars and did something so wonderful, touching and inspiring. For probably about $100,000 they got millions of dollars worth of advertising ... all positive I might add ... with over over 19 million views, not to mention every TV station that has featured it! Well done!
Imagine the good that could come of the millions of dollars spent on Super Bowl ads, not to mention the monies paid to be featured during the big game.
I know we can do better. It’s really up to the consumer who is doing the spending to support companies who use their heads and their money in creative ways.
It's over used, but sometimes the word is appropriate ... Awesome!
