Chamber hosts Age Friendly Community luncheon

SUMMERSIDE – The concept of Age Friendly Communities will be the topic of a luncheon being held by he Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce.


The luncheon will be on Sept. 9 at Veterans Convention Centre, Credit Union Place at noon.

The event will feature guest speaker Jim Hamilton, associate director of the Centre on Aging at the University of Manitoba.

Hamilton will talk about what an age-friendly city looks like and what the economic benefits are for the community.

Reservations should be made by Friday, Sept. 5. Tickets are $26 plus tax for members and $30 plus tax for non-members.
