Charlottetown transformed into open art gallery

From painted cars and marching crows to a giant replica of Optimus Prime and performance art, Charlottetown has been transformed into a giant open air gallery.

The Art in The Open festival is being held throughout downtown Charlottetown until midnight tonight.

Residents and tourists can view works of art at multiple locations, with the festival’s focal points being at The Confederation Centre of The Arts, Victoria Row, Rochford Square, Connaught Square and Victoria Park.

This is the fourth year for the festival, which includes dozens of art projects.
