Quilts stolen from Abram-Village Craft store

ABRAM-VILLAGE – Several handmade quilts were reported stolen overnight, Thursday, July 31, from the Village Hand Craft store in Abram Village.

 

these are not the quilts that were stolen.

The store closed Thursday evening at 5 p.m. and the break was discovered at about 6:30 a.m. Friday morning. 

Missing from the store are nine handmade quilts of various sizes, patterns and values. 

East Prince RCMP are warning the public to be cautious about purchasing handmade items such as these quilts.  

Anyone with information about this break and enter can contact the RCMP at 436-9300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). This investigation is continuing.

    I just don't understand how anybody could do something like this. This is the second such story I have read about this week. I hope these are found quickly and in good condition.

    Could pictures be posted on the FB group to show which ones were stolen? The power of social media outlets like FB and Twitter may help return these lovely works of art.

      Totally agree, internet gets the word out like no other way. Also, need pictures! How would anyone recognize the quilts that are stolen unless they know what they look like.
