Summer Concert Series continues in Mont-Carmel

MONT-CARMEL – The next show in the Mont-Carmel Summer Concert Series is set to take place Sunday at Mont-Carmel Parish Hall. 

Fiddler Cynthia MacLeod is one of the performers at this year's Festival of Small Halls.

Featured performers are singer/songwriter Adrienne Gallant, who will be joined by Ashley LeClair, Harmony, comprised of Debbie Rousselle-Montgomery, Tracy Gallant and Keelin Wedge, Bridgette Blanchard and Cynthia MacLeod.

Harmony has been performing for a few years across the Island, while Blanchard, who hails from Hunter River, has been singing in competitions in her community and was a finalist in Maritime Idol.

MacLeod, a well-known fiddler, rounds out the list of performers.

She has performed across the country and beyond, and has 13 awards and three albums to her credit. MacLeod was among a handful of Island artists selected to perform during the taping of three episodes of “Regis and Kelly” on P.E.I.  

Concerts take place each Sunday at 7 p.m. until Aug. 24. Doors of the Mont-Carmel Parish Hall open at 6:15 p.m. It is encouraged to arrive early, as seating is limited.

There will be 50/50 tickets and a canteen available.
