Morrison guest presenter at Irish Heritage Festival

TIGNISH – Island author Clint Morrison will be the guest presenter at the annual Irish Heritage Festival set for Tignish, July 31 to Aug. 3.

 

An Evening with Clint Morrison will be held on Thursday, July 31, at 7 p.m. in at the St. Felix Hall.

Morrison is a renown author and researcher. A retired teacher and educator in Summerside, he has been recognized for his many works including: A Century of farewells; Along The North Shore; Strange Tales & True Stories; Booze (Rum Running Days); Hell on Earth (WW1); and a Jolly Wake and Other Stories.

The event is funded by the West Prince Arts Council. Admission is $10 and a light lunch will be served. For further information contact Cletus Dun at 853-2554.
