MISCOUCHE – Two people were injured in a rear-end collision Wednesday morning, on Route 2 in Miscouche.

RCMP request the public's help in solving damage to Murray Harbour facilities.

An RCMP spokesman said a Pontiac Grand Prix slowed in a construction site on Route 2 and after being waved ahead by the flagman started to pick up speed. When it came to a speed bump in the road the driver slowed down and was rear-ended by a Ford Topaz.

The driver and a passenger of the Grand Prix were taken to Prince County Hospital with sore backs.

The Grand Prix sustained minor damage while the Ford Topaz had to be towed away from the scene with frontend damage.

Charges are pending in the accident.
