CHARLOTTETOWN – Charlottetown police have arrested a 35-year-old man after a search allegedly found two explosive devices in his home on Avonlea Drive.

Charlottetown police arrested a 35-year-old man after a search allegedly found two explosive devices in his home on Avonlea Drive in Charlottetown.
On Tuesday the police received information about someone who might have been in possession of explosive devices.
The Halifax RCMP explosive disposal unit was brought in to help with the search of the home, which allegedly found two explosive devices and other bomb making material.
Those devices were taken to Halifax for forensic analysis, examination and disposal.
Arlo William Callaghan, 35, has been charged with two counts of possession of making and possessing a pipe bomb.
Callaghan is scheduled to appear in court June 30.
Charlottetown police say a second person is under investigation and charges may be pending against him.
