O’LEARY -- Tourism and Culture minister, and the MLA responsible for O’Leary, Robert Henderson expressed confidence Saturday that the O’Leary space the PEI Liquor Control Commission vacated in January in relocating to the O’Leary Farmers’ Co-op building will be put to good use.
“We are, right now, going through the processes we have to do to dispose of our asset,” he said, adding that thee or four parties have expressed interest in the building.
“We’re going to start with one particular party and see where we can go with providing them with that asset.
As minister responsible, my goals and objectives are,
‘What can have the greatest impact in the community, from an economic standpoint and also be the logical fit for the community?”
