Students present $131 to Easter Seals ambassador Brett Robinson

SUMMERSIDE - Easter Seals ambassador Brett Robinson made a whistle-stop visit to Three Oaks Senior High school Tuesday afternoon.

Easter Seals ambassador Brett Robinson accepted a cheque for $131 from student representative Millee McKay. Also attending the presentation, from left, were Ségolène Farges, Lynn Robinson, Breann Hastings and Jill MacIntyre.

Robinson met a delegation of students who presented the tour with $131 towards the 2014 campaign.

The Easter Seals tour takes 15-year-old Brett to 65 schools across the province in six days.

The stop at Three Oaks followed stops at most of the other schools in East Prince during the tour’s fourth day. The final stop for the tour will be at Charlottetown Rural High School, where Brett is in Grade 10.

Despite the hectic schedule, Brett used his computer’s Tobii, alternative and augmentative communication software platform to express that he felt “Great!”

A certificate of appreciation for the TOSH contribution was also presented to the student delegation, during the visit, by Vance Bridges, who represented the Summerside Rotary Club, supporters of the tour.
