Due to the current weather conditions, both the French and English Language School Boards will remain closed for the day.
High winds and blowing snow continue to make for poor driving conditions in Prince County this morning.
Meanwhile, Maritime Electric crews are still trying to return power to about 3,300 homes still without power from yesterday. Ice and high winds caused sporadic outages throughout the day to dozens of communities, many of them in West Prince.
A company spokeswoman has said that line crews will be doing their best, but that the current weather conditions are not making the work easy.
She promised a further update by 10:30.
Environment Canada reports that snowfall should stop this morning, but that blowing snow and poor visibility will continue into the afternoon.
