Kensington Police respond to 67 calls

KENSINGTON – Members of the Kensington Police Department responded to 67 calls during the month of February, down from 80 the previous month.

The majority of the calls, 25, were for the issuance of summary offense tickets.

Following is a breakdown of the calls:

- alarms – 5

- assaults – 1

- assistance calls – 14

- breach of peace – 1

- fail to comply probation – 1

- impaired driver - 1

- information files – 1

- lost and found – 2

- Mental Health Act – 3

- mischief – 1

- motor vehicle accidents – 4

- Motor Vehicle Act – 4

- Off Road Vehicle Act – 1

- suspicious persons/vehicle – 1

- theft under $5,000 – 1

- Trespass Act – 1

- summary ticket offenses – 25

Police also issued seven Highway Traffic Act warnings.
