SUMMERSIDE – The Summerside Relay for Life kickoff will take place Friday, March 7, at the Three Oaks Senior High School cafeteria beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Summerside Relay For Life kick-off set for March 7.
Speakers will include Sandra Reeves, representing cancer survivors, Brenda Ramsay, representing caregivers, and Maryann O’Holloran representing cancer fighters.
The speakers will talk about the important role the Relay for Life plays in community spirit and how it supports those who have been affected by cancer.
The kickoff event will include music, refreshments, plus the announcement of a prize from WestJet.
Guests can register a team, sign up for the Survivor Victory Lap or find out about volunteering.
Relay for Life is returning to Summerside on May 30 at Red Shores raceway and is an opportunity for the whole community to get involved in the fight against cancer.
Relay for Life is a signature fundraising event for the programs of the Canadian Cancer Society and cancer research.
