BORDEN-CARLETON – East Prince RCMP officers arrested a 23-year-old Borden-Carleton man Monday evening after a car crash in a local apartment building parking lot.

The call came in at about 8:20 p.m.

Officers subsequently requested a breath sample from one of the drivers and found him to be over the legal blood alcohol level. He has been charged with impaired driving. He will appear in court at a later date.

The driver of the second vehicle, who was not impaired, was taken to Prince County Hospital for minor injuries and released a short time later.

RCMP are reminding drivers to always be on the lookout for impaired drivers and to report any suspicious or erratic drivers to police.
