SUMMERSIDE — A 30-year-old city man was sentenced recently to three days in jail after pleading guilty in Summerside provincial court to driving drunk.

City police stopped Cory Richard Blair Delaney shortly after midnight on Nov. 15. His breathalyzer readings were 120 milligrams per 100 millilitres of blood.

Delaney, who has no previous record, was released at the time.

In addition to time behind bars, Delaney was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine, a $300 victim surcharge and is now prohibited from driving for a year.
