P.E.I. egg producers support Island food banks

Four the fourth consecutive year Prince Edward Island egg producers have come to the aid of the food banks in Summerside and Charlottetown.

Egg producers are supporting Salvation Army food banks. Taking part in the donations are from the left, John Dennis, chairman of Egg Producers of P.E.I., Leah Marchbank Omegga Holdings, Karen Mallett, representing the Summerside and Charlottetown Salvation Army food banks and egg producer Nathan Burn of Burns Poultry.

This year producers are donating 1,175 dozen eggs to the food banks. 

The donations will help feed needy families over the winter months.

    where is our local MLA'S maybe they could donate what they got in pay raise to the food bank. i know i have NOT seen there names listed in the turkey drive. but we all know if they did they would want pictures taken. you get paid by tax payers but you can't give in return.
