By 1:30 this afternoon, Maritime Electric was reporting that the number of customers without power from Wednesday's storm had dwindled to 360. That's down from about 13,000 customers at one point yesderday.

Maritime Electric spokeswoman, Kim Griffin said 25 crews were at work today responding to the outages. The remaining outages were in the communities of Skinners Pond, Huntley, Augustine Cove, Middleton, Kensington, Cavendish, Marshfield and Montecello.

Trees weighed down with snow, and broken tree limbs were responsible for all the outages, Griffin said. Three tree-trimming crews also assisted utility crews on Wednesday.
