SUMMERSIDE — Due to inclement weather, the Prince County Hospital Foundation has postponed Lights for Life.

The event was scheduled to take place this evening at 6:30 p.m. at Prince County Hospital.
It will now go Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
The annual lighting ceremony, which raises money to purchase equipment at the hospital, is in its 19th year.
The lighting ceremony is choreographed to music and is preceded by a performance from the Prince County Hospital staff choir, along with hot chocolate, cider and cookies for spectators.
Parking is available at Wal-Mart and Superstore, while handicap spaces near the hospital will be made available beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Presented by the Credit Unions of Prince County, Lights for Life has raised more than $2.2 Million for the hospital foundation since its inception.

Items of note for the Lights for Life ceremony:
— General parking is at Wal-Mart and Superstore.
— Disability parking is available, with 50 spaces reserved in the main PCH parking lot.
— Shuttle Service is available for those unable to walk to PCH from the Superstore/Wal-Mart, beginning at 5:45 p.m.
— The PCH Staff Choir entertains from 6:15 to 6:30 and hot Chocolate, cider and cookies available after 6.
— Lights for Life dedication books will be distributed on site.
