Transportation department issues traffic advisories

SUMMERSIDE — The Department of Transportation has issued a number of traffic advisories for today.

Completed:

— Route 18A (Robertson Road), Murray Harbour – Installation of telephone cable is complete (information provided by Atlantic

Enterprises Ltd.)

— Route 25 (Bayshore Road), Stanhope – Work to construct a pathway and install storm sewer is complete.

 

Ongoing:

— Route 223, Winsloe – A cross culvert is being installed;

detours are in place on MacQuarrie Road, Route 15-Brackley Point Road, and Route 250-Kentyre Road.

— East Royalty Road, Georgetown – Work is underway to install a new cross culvert and carry out ditching. Two-way, one-lane traffic will be maintained, minor delays are expected.

— Miminegash Harbour Bridge – Bridge is closed during the replacement project.

— Route 141, Dunblane – A weight restriction is in place on

Dunblane Bridge, Stephen Road, Route 141: 5500 kg max gross, 4500 kg max axle.

— Marie Bridge – Traffic on the temporary bridge will be moved to the permanent structure on November 20; two-way, one-lane traffic will be maintained and controlled by traffic lights.
