A woman was seriously injured after an elderly driver struck two pedestrians attempting to cross the road at an intersection in Charlottetown Saturday.
Police say a car struck two 22-year-old Charlottetown women as they tried to cross with the light at the intersection of Nassau Street and Queen Street.
One woman suffered serious, but not life threatening injuries. The second pedestrian was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
The driver was not injured.
Charlottetown Police Services Deputy Chief Gary McGuigan says a traffic analyst is taking statements from the parties involved to help determine what, if any, charges may be laid.
Police received a 911 call Saturday at 6:43 regarding the incident.
