TORONTO – Richard Arsenault worked his butt off on Sunday, so Monday was a recuperation day for local local mixed martial artist.
Arsenault was one of many hopeful fighters who tried out for the MMA reality TV show The Ultimate Fighter, in Toronto on Sunday.
Unfortunately, when contacted on Monday, Arsenault apologetically declined to say how far he’s gone in the process.
“They made us sign a waiver saying that we weren’t supposed to disclose early what happened – whether we made it or not,” explained Arsenault.
The show itself will make the official announcement at a later date.
However, Arsenault could say that he enjoyed the experience, especially getting to meet fighters from other parts of the country.
Regardless of whether Arsenault moves on in The Ultimate Fighter, he’ll have a second chance at the UFC early next year when the competition comes to Halifax for a feature event.
