Some of the marijuana plants seized during the Sept. 7 bust.
On that day, Prince District Joint Forces Drug Unit and Criminal Intelligence Service P.E.I. executed a search warrant on a Richmond home and dismantled what police call an indoor and outdoor marijuana grow operation.
The man was arrested on site.

The man was held in custody on unrelated charges and will appear in Summerside provincial court on a later date to answer to charges of production of marijuana and possession of the drug for the purpose of trafficking,
“This is a significant seizure of marihuana plants and will have a direct impact on the local marihuana trade,” said Cpl. Andy Cook with the JFO Drug Unit.
