SUMMERSIDE – Two men are facing drug related charges after police in Summerside observed them making an alleged drug deal on Wednesday.
Police seized a total of 17 six-milligram hydromorphone capsules, as well as 10 more capsules that police believe contain six-mg of hydromorphone. They also confiscated $1,200 in cash and cell phone.
Police arrested a 66-year-old male and charged him with drug trafficking, as well as a 48-year-old man who was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Both men were released and will appear in court at a later date.
The arrests were conducted by the Prince District JFO Drug Unit and Criminal Intelligence Section.
