For more than 13 years, the P.E.I. Seniors College has been growing and expanding, and this year will be no exception.
Beginning Sept. 7, registration for all three Island branches of the college will be up and running online for the first time. On the same day, traditional registration sessions will be held for members who do not have access to a computer, or otherwise need assistance.
Also new this year are an array of new courses, bringing the total of courses offered to more than 140 at centres in Charlottetown, Summerside and Montague.
New courses will be offered in everything from computers, engine repair and architecture, to sports history and the game of bridge.
Courses generally run two or three hours, once a week over an eight-week period. For a single registration fee, college members are entitled to an unlimited number of courses over the fall, winter and spring terms.
