Perhaps one reason why the Seniors’ Expo, held annually at the Rodd Mill River Resort, is so popular is because of the fun the organizers have in planning the event. Helping to plan the 24th expo for Tuesday, June 4 are, standing from left, Shirley Murphy, co-chair; Priscilla Domingue, Theresa Doucette, Jean Balsom and, at the keys, Katherine Boulter. Music, comedy, fun, food and door prizes are all part of he event.

Tickets are available in the Tyne Valley area from Jean Balsom Priscilla Domingue; in the O’Leary area from Wanda Adams, Katherine Boulter and John and Jean Hagen; Alberton area from Phyllis Porter and Cletus Dunn and in the Tignish-St Louis areas from Theresa Doucette and Shirley Murphy.
Major sponsors are the Tignish and Evangeline-Central Credit Unions. Other sponsors are the funeral homes and pharmacies of West Prince.

The June 4 program, which starts at 1 p.m. and runs until 6:30 p.m., is filled with music, comedy, fun, food and door prizes. The guest speaker is Boyd Beck and there will be entertainment by “On the Road Again.
